5-Months = Smiles, Giggles, Babbling, Blowouts, & No More Newborn Clothes

Hello Friends and Family! It's so great to see you all again.
Can you believe it's taken daddy another few weeks to share all of our stories?!? Geez, it's not like he's busy or anything... :-P

I'll start us off by saying that we're all doing great! We're not being weighed every week anymore, so that's a great sign of us doing very well. A few weeks ago Jaxson weighed 13.9 pounds, Charlie weighed 11.9 pounds, and I weighed 12.15 pounds. But I'm guessing our newest weights will be up another pound each...especially during the holiday season. All those cookies, candies, and eggnog go right to our hips. I guess we are the only ones who look forward to gaining weight over the holiday season. As for all of you, especially daddy, what's your excuse? With our weights changing, so are our eating habits. We are all taking over 5 ounces of milk each bottle. It's weird because just a few months ago we were talking mainly in milliliters and now we can talk in ounces. Instead of 8 bottles a day, we are looking at only 5 bottles a day. Another small step, yet huge milestone! That means that mommy and daddy are washing and preparing less bottles each day. Another milestone to celebrate! "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle!" Guess which one we believe?!? :-)

Hello everyone! I'm glad that you found your way back to visit us during your very busy and chaotic lives. If your house is anything like ours, I'm sure you have a hard time finding time to yourself. Ella was saying that we are eating less often, which is great, but what's even better is that we don't have to wake up so much at night. We usually bathe at 9 and are in bed by 10 every night. Which means mommy and daddy follow close behind. But since we don't need to eat as often, we usually sleep until 6:30 am. Yes, you read that correctly -- 8.5 hours every night!!! I don't know who needs the sleep more, us or mommy and daddy. But let me tell you, it's greatly appreciated by us all. My brother and sister get quite crabby when they are tired. Of course, I don't because I'm the perfect one. Oh yeah, and we're all smiling, giggling, and babbling! So the times that we aren't sleeping or eating, we're usually babbling to each other. Mommy and daddy love the new noises that fill the house. What is a home without children? Quiet, I suppose, but who wants quiet?!? We'll take a home, that's for sure!

Last, but not least, it's me, Jaxson! Mommy and daddy told me that I have to start my gentleman duties by letting my sisters go first. I have a hard time with that, especially since I've figured out that if I start crying right before feedings or bath time, I get to go first! It works every time!! I don't think anyone has caught on yet. I almost forgot to tell you we are 5 months old now!! It has been a crazy, beautiful ride! Just think, 5 months ago we weighed a little over 7 pounds all together and now we weigh over 38 pounds all together. Did you ever think you'd see chubby cheeks and rolls from us preemie babies? We've come so far since July 15th, that's for sure! We hear mommy and daddy telling us to stop growing and getting bigger because they want us to stay little forever! I am sure every parent can agree that every day passed is a day you'll miss when we're older. All of the sleepless nights, unhappy babies, and moments of managing three screaming babies at once are all times mommy and daddy will miss. As we've all learned too many times, (even 5 month old babies have learned it, too!) never take life for granted because it's too short, too unpredictable, too unforgiving, and too beautiful! "Life is to be lived!!!"

Look what Uncle Jeffrey and Auntie Jenny made for us!

It's a Hoheisel generation picture! Big noses, crooked toes, and all!

As we prepare for our first Christmas, we're counting our blessings. Family, friends, and good health are topping off our list of amazing blessings! We are so blessed!!! As the holidays arrive and lives are busier than ever, sometimes it's hard to fully be in the "present". We hope that everyone is able to slow down and enjoy the holiday season!

God bless and we love you all! Travel safely and take care! See you all soon!

Thankful is an Understatement!

Hello Everyone! Do you remember us? We're the cute triplets that haven't forgotten about you.
Let's just say that we've been a bit busy. Anyways, we're glad to be back and ready to share the
happenings of the past few weeks.
We finally were able to meet our favorite cousins from Tioga.
Gunnar and Piper were so much fun.
We can't wait to share many more memories with them.
We also got to see our cousin Avery. She's getting so big. She's only two and a half months
older than us, but we're catching up in size. Poor Jaxson--always surrounded by girls!
While we were away, I got weighed. If you can believe it,
I am over 12 pounds...and that was two weeks ago.
But of course, I'm still the handsome, chubby boy!
I went to the doctor, too. I got weighed and surprised everyone by breaking
out of the single digits to over 10 pounds. As you can tell, all of my
pounds and ounces are in my cute, chubby cheeks!
And since my brother and sister went to the doctor, I had to go along, too.
But I'm glad I went to see that I'm still stuck in the middle weighing
over 11 pounds of pure cuteness. Beauty queen...I think so!
Our first Thanksgiving was shared with mommy, daddy, grandma and grandpa Moberg, grandma and grandpa Hoheisel, Logan, Amanda, and Avery.
Gobble! Gobble! Three Little Turkey Butts!
Aren't these three of the cutest turkey butts you've ever seen?
Since Thanksgiving is a time to remind ourselves what we're thankful for,

Usually we spend a little time watching the lights move on the Christmas tree.
Mommy and daddy might just leave the tree up all year.
Our pediatrician says that we're doing so well, that we don't have to visit
her until we turn 6 months old!
But we do have to go back next week for our monthly shot...look at Jax's excitement!
Well, it's time to go. Mommy is making me take another nap!
We will HOPEFULLY see you sooner than last time.
We'll make sure daddy has time to write next week.
Love and miss you all!!
Come on, mommy! Let me stay up just a little bit longer watching Baby Einstein!
Ok then, but next time I get to watch two episodes!
Happy Holidays, friends and family! We hope to see you all soon.
Be safe! I love you all! Buh-bye!
Being a baby is tough work, you know! Eat, sleep, poop, smile, giggle...so demanding!
Thank you all for stopping by to check on us all. We can't wait to see you all soon.
Travel safely and enjoy the time with family, friends, and each other.
Until next time, be good, be safe, and be great! Love you! Ta-Ta!

Bear (not bare) Butts

Can you tell we're related?!?

Hey everyone! Thanks for making your way back to us.
It is always great to see your familiar (and cute) faces each week. We look forward to seeing all of your faces in person someday soon. As usual, this week has been a busy one. Appointments, costumes, media appearances, dirty diapers, visitors, wardrobe changes, late nights, shots, and much, much more consumed yet another hectic week. So why don't we jump right into the crazy, beautiful life we share with so many wonderful people.

All tuckered out after our first round of synagis shots.
These will hopefully prevent us from getting RSV.
Keep those fingers (and toes) crossed!

Sharing cuddle time with mommy

Jaxson snoring while snuggling with daddy.
But what you can't see here is daddy's eyes are also closed.

Mommy and daddy have discovered that as long as we've got a
bottle in our mouth, we're content enough to let them prop
the bottles for a few minutes.

No More Stay at Home Parents
Mommy and daddy are both back to work now. You cannot imagine how difficult it has been for all of us not being able to cuddle every minute of each day. So that means that when we do cuddle, we've got to take full advantage of it, especially since there's always another baby impatiently waiting to take your cuddling spot in mommy and daddy's arms. We are very fortunate to have lots of family and friends that have helped out with the transition back to "the real world". The extra hands, prepared meals, and constant support has helped tremendously. We are also very lucky that we don't have to go to daycare yet because mommy works 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and daddy works 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. As you can imagine, mommy and daddy don't have a lot of time to sleep. So we're "trying" to make up for it and give them catnaps throughout the day. It hasn't happened yet, though!! Mommy and daddy get frustrated when all three of us are screaming at the same time, but then all it takes is for one of us to smile at them and the world is all better again. It works every time...suckers!!

Look! We're famous! Here's our picture as a news headline on
the Fargo Forum website. No autographs, please!!!

Our First Halloween
If you haven't figured it out yet, mommy and daddy love Halloween...and we kind of have to by default. Besides us looking cute all of the time, we had to bump up the cuteness a bit by trying on a few costumes. "The Three Baby Bears" made an appearance on Halloween morning. Before the ghosts and goblins terrorized on Halloween night, we had already been around the valley. It was on some site called Facebook, a kid pictures website, the Grand Forks Herald, and the Fargo Forum. I guess when you're as cute as I am, you're kind of a hot commodity! Eat your heart out, boys!

Hope the changing table can handle 30 pounds!

Packing on the Pounds...or Ounces
That's right, we are almost out of the single digits! At 3 and 1/2 months old, we're at a combined weight of over 30 pounds! The little peanut, Charlie, is inching (or ouncing) her way to 10 pounds weighing in at 9 pounds 9 ounces. Jaxson, the tank, is plowing through the double-digits topping out at 11 pounds 5 ounces. And I, the little princess, am sneaking up to Jax tipping the scale at 10 pounds 5 ounces. I am guessing that the next time we're weighed, Charlie will be out of the singles and into the doubles. That 22 calorie formula mixed with love and a dash of cuteness really packs on the ounces. Now, if we could just get Charlie to grow upwards...not outwards! :-P

Ella sleeping during the day...not at night.

See, sisters can get along.
(But only for 3 minutes!)

Buh-bye! Toodle-Loo! Ta-ta!
"We only part to meet again!"

Well, so long, family, friends, and faithful fans! The gifts of love, thoughts, and prayers from so many are greatly appreciated (and needed) each and every day...especially for mommy and daddy's sanity!! :-)

We hope your week goes well. We will talk to everyone soon. We only promise to be good this week if you promise to be good, too! However, we know it's really hard to do, especially for most of the Hoheisels and Mobergs!!

Until next time, stay safe and stay warm. We love you all! God bless!!
